The Sugar Mill Ponds Friends Group
The Sugar Mill Ponds Friends Group was set up in July 1998 with the main aim of providing community participation and involvement in all aspects of site management. It is also hoped that the group will help secure future funding for site management, resolve any differences between site user groups and establish links with other similar 'friends' groups.

The group meets approximately every 2 months at Rawcliffe Bridge Primary School. The group has a chairperson, regular agenda items and anyone with an interest in the well-being of the Sugar Mill Ponds is welcome to join.

For further information please contact Rachael Young, Countryside Ranger,  on 01482 395210, e-mail: rachael.young@eastriding.gov.uk

For written communication contact Lynden Taylor (Friend of Sugar Mill Ponds) or Heather Taylor, (Secretary to Friends Group) 42 Westfield Avenue, Rawcliffe, Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire DN14 8QY

The next Friends Group meeting is on Thursday 27th November 2002 at 7.30 pm, Rawcliffe Bridge Primary School.
