Both ponds can be fished by members (and the canal behind the ponds). The East Pond is on the left as you approach down the single track road from the main road (Bridge Lane) and the larger, West Pond is on the right.
A pathway suitable for walking and transporting a fishing barrow runs around both ponds. Please remember that under most buoys are ropes, weights and ‘hedgehogs’.
The so called ‘hedgehogs’ are fish refuges to help protect them from predators. Anglers should avoid casting close to the buoys remembering that in low water conditions the ‘hedgehogs’ may not be directly below the buoys.
Most pegs are accessed by steps other than pegs 1, 24 and 25 on the East Pond. Most pegs incorporate a platform.
