If you are on the waiting list to gain membership and have had a confirmation email to that effect, then – after the 31st March we calculate the number of spare membership places available and email (or contact by post in some cases and even telephone) the people next on the waiting list. People contacted have 2 weeks to complete their membership. If (in spite of our efforts to contact prospective members) all places are not taken up the next people on the waiting list will be contacted until the membership is full.
Once the membership is full the remaining people on the waiting list will be informed by email or letter, where they are on the waiting list (which will not change effectively until renewals in April of the following year).
IT IS VITAL THAT IF YOU ARE ON THE WAITING LIST YOUR CONTACT DETAILS ARE CORRECT AND THAT YOU CHECK YOUR EMAILS FOR AN OFFER OF MEMBERSHIP (PARTICULARLY IN YOUR SPAM BOX) DURING APRIL.
